Whilst being non-charitable the overarching aim of AHPD Limited will contribute to the group by developing alternative forms of housing and complementary commercial activities. Surpluses generated are reinvested to increase the capacity for strategic development or fed back into social housing via gift aid to Aberdeenshire Housing Partnership, its charitable parent.

	April 2009 Farewell to TIGHRA Committee members of AHP Tenants' Association presented Judith McCullough with a bouquet of flowers to mark the end of TIGHRA's involvement with tenant participation at AHP on 18th March 2009.
	April 2009 Oldmeldrum Phase 2 Update On Monday evening 2nd March AHP held a welcome meeting in the Oldmeldrum Royal British Legion for 16 new tenants at the latest development in Oldmeldrum. The welcome meeting is to allow tenants to meet each other and ask questions direct to the Housing Officer who will be looking after them in their new tenancies.
	April 2009 Tenants Newsletter Winter Edition 2008 Prize Winner The prize winner for our last competition in the winter edition of our Tenants' Newsletter was: Mr Chris Roberts, Oldmeldrum. Mr Roberts correctly answered the golf question winning a bottle of 12 year old Cragganmore Single Speyside Malt.
	April 2009 AHP to host 2009 RIHAF Conference The Rural & Islands Housing Association Forum (RIHAF) will hold its annual conference in Ballater later this year.
	April 2009 New Site Purchase at Lethan Fields, Portlethen AHP Developments Limited are pleased to advise that a deal for the purchase of a site in Portlethen was been completed 31st March 2009. The site will be for 30 houses ? all for rent. The builder will be Stewart Milne Homes, and site start date is May 09. A PR photo shoot is to take place in May 09
	March 2009 Appointment of New Repairs & Maintenance Contractor AHP are pleased to announce that, starting on 1st April 2009, Banchory Contractors Ltd will be responsible for the routine repairs and maintenance works required on our properties.

	January 2009 Motivation Christmas Donation Once again AHP staff decided to donate cash to a charity instead of sending cards to each other. A grand total of GBP60 was collected and a cheque sent to the chosen charity which was ?Motivation?. All staff who donated were asked to nominate a charity. Motivation was chosen to receive the 2008 donation.
	January 2009 Information Update AHP are currently updating information to speed communications with tenants.
