About Us

AHP is a registered Social Landlord, established in 1999, which provides quality, affordable accommodation for people in housing need throughout North East Scotland. We currently have over 900 properties throughout Aberdeenshire (see 'Where Can I Live'). This is made up of 300 properties which were transferred to us from Aberdeenshire Council, and over 600 newly built houses and flats. AHP also manages a very sheltered housing scheme in Fraserburgh and a number of smaller schemes for those with particular needs.

AHP is headed by a voluntary Board of Directors, with the day-to-day running carried out by our professional staff team based at our offices in Westhill. We work in partnership with the Local Authorities and our work is monitored by the Scottish Housing Regulator to ensure our tenants receive a high quality standard of service.

Our vision statement - "AHP is committed to growth - we exist to provide a range of high quality affordable housing and will work to increase our housing stock and improve and diversify our services through the next five years.

We will do this through a determination to develop excellent services and by working in partnership."
